Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain efficient data pipelines from various TMS and other data sources.

• Design and implement new data frameworks or enhance existing ones to meet changing business needs.

• Build and maintain the Data Vault, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.

• Provide essential metrics to operational and business stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, executives, clients, engineers, and external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; proficient in both verbal and written communications.

• Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent experience); preference for fields such as Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

• Over 5 years of experience in technology.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Amazon Relational Database Service (Aurora, MySQL), Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake.

• Outstanding SQL development and performance tuning capabilities.

• Experience with TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 is a considerable plus.

• Experience with Fivetran is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory is a strong plus.

• Experience with REST API is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
