Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and infrastructure for FyerX's internal operations and client technological transformations.

• Create automated workflows utilizing n8n, webhooks, and REST APIs.

• Securely gather, normalize, and combine cross-platform metrics from Google, Meta, GA4, and CRM systems.

• Oversee and enhance relational databases and cloud data warehouses, including PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery.

• Guarantee low-latency data access for AI scripts, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Work collaboratively with AI specialists, backend engineers, and marketing teams.

• Direct clean, structured data payloads to large language models, agentic workflows, and automated alerting systems.

• Execute data quality assessments, automated deduplication, and thorough monitoring.

• Proactively identify anomalies, mitigate budget waste, and ensure data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, solid data integration, and cloud-based data architecture.

• Established history of designing, building, and deploying automated, production-grade data pipelines.

• Advanced SQL proficiency.

• Programming expertise in Python or Scala.

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.

• Practical experience with modern data stack tools.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with data warehouses: BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

• Experience with orchestration platforms: Airflow or n8n.

• Expertise in integrating complex enterprise APIs.

• Experience managing JSON/XML payloads.

• Experience securely synchronizing databases with external marketing networks and CRM platforms.

• Emphasis on data governance and security compliance.

• Capability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented infrastructure code.

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple data integration projects concurrently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with remote tech teams.
