This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +2 more countries.
• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of data products and serve as a technical leader.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to implement real-time pricing algorithms for millions of users.
• Assume full responsibility for data pipelines within the scope of Pricing Analytics.
• Design and construct systems for complex or vaguely defined challenges.
• Oversee the design, development, optimization, and productionization of ML and ML-based solutions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage the infrastructure that supports the Pricing algorithm.
• Ensure the performance of the pricing ML system is optimized.
• Lead cross-team initiatives to utilize and enhance ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment.
• Produce well-structured, thoroughly tested, readable, and maintainable production-quality code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python programming.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and optimized code for intricate data transformations.
• Extensive hands-on experience in modeling enterprise Data Warehouses using dbt, including Kimball methodology, dimensional modeling, star schemas, data testing, and data lineage.
• Strong familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem, including Delta Lake, PySpark, Unity Catalog, SQL Endpoints, and Serverless compute.
• Significant experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3, IAM, KMS, and DataSync.
• Proven experience in writing and orchestrating complex production DAGs using Apache Airflow or MWAA.
• Experience in managing deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise dashboards utilizing Tableau, PowerBI, or Databricks SQL Dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Databricks AI features.
• Sound understanding of GDPR requirements, PII masking, access control policies, data retention, and auditing through Unity Catalog.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data marts and KPI metrics.
• Capability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and domain teams.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
