Data Engineer – Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient data architectures.

• Establish best practices and architectural guidelines across data platforms.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and enhance data solutions that align with business objectives.

• Create comprehensive data flows, from ingestion to analytics, in both cloud and hybrid settings.

• Assist in the development of data pipelines and modeling methodologies.

• Provide guidance on storage solutions, governance, and performance enhancement.

• Assess new tools and technologies to perpetually refine the architectural landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture or senior-level data engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable data platforms and architectures on Azure and/or AWS.

• Deep understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, and big data technologies such as Spark and Databricks.

• Practical experience with Spark, Databricks, or similar Big Data frameworks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and Fabric.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in leading technical projects that involve multiple teams, stakeholders, or business areas.

• Proficient in English.

• Strong collaborative mindset and team player attitude.
