Data Developer / Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and enhancement of Data & AI Governance practices

• Conduct data analysis to support governance initiatives and business requirements

• Collaborate with data catalogs, glossaries, business terminology, datasets, attributes, and data lineage

• Aid in data curation and stewardship efforts

• Establish and uphold data governance policies, standards, and procedures

• Work together with stakeholders to gather data requirements and enhance data quality and usability

• Analyze and document data-related information while identifying areas for improvement

• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and related data tasks

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data governance processes and methodologies

• Partner with technical and business teams to ensure data governance aligns with business objectives

• Support a Data & AI Governance practice for a client as part of a global team

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, Data Developer, Data Governance Analyst, or a related role

• Experience in data analysis and handling structured data

• Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data-related information

• Familiarity with Data Governance concepts and practices

• Knowledge of data catalogs, policies, glossaries, business terminology, datasets, attributes, data lineage, data quality, ownership, and stewardship

• Proficient in Python programming

• Experience in using Python for data analysis, manipulation, or automation

• Background in Data Stewardship activities

• Experience in data curation, documentation, organization, and maintenance of data assets

• Understanding of the data lifecycle and data management practices

• Practical experience with data analysis and data-related documentation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders

• Proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to new processes and practices

• Nice to have: experience in Data & AI Governance initiatives

• Nice to have: experience with Data Governance or Data Management tools

• Nice to have: knowledge of Data Quality frameworks and practices

• Nice to have: experience in an international or multicultural setting
