Data Compliance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assist clients throughout all phases of their compliance journey.

• Perform compliance audits and impact assessments.

• Evaluate and interpret regulatory requirements, translating them into technical specifications for information systems.

• Prepare functional and technical specifications that align with both business and regulatory demands.

• Act as a liaison among legal, compliance, business, and IT departments.

• Oversee implementation projects, which include the configuration of AML/CFT tools, the establishment of GDPR processing activity records, data purging, archiving, anonymization projects, and the deployment of BCBS 239 indicators.

• Conduct design workshops.

• Educate and raise awareness among teams about regulatory requirements and data compliance.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with compliance projects related to GDPR, AML/CFT, KYC, BCBS 239, Sapin II, and other regulatory frameworks.

• Capability to integrate complex legal, functional, and technical aspects.

• Competence in assessing risks and proposing relevant recommendations.

• Expertise in audit techniques and methodologies.

• Proficiency in risk and impact assessments.

• Skill in facilitating workshops and meetings.

• Ability to train colleagues on intricate subjects.

• Intellectual curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning.

• Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.
