📋 Description

• Assist the growing team in General Provisions, Terms & Conditions, and compliance with regulatory clauses within the defense sector.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and internal stakeholders to ensure subcontract provisions are cohesive, suitable for business, and aligned with company goals.

• Analyze prime contract requirements and convert them into negotiated General Provisions, Terms & Conditions, and mandatory clause flow-downs.

• Drive supplier negotiations and draft tailored contract language to meet business needs and reduce risk.

• Create, maintain, and organize negotiated clause language within company systems.

• Evaluate government contracts and subcontracts for compliant execution.

• Interpret requirements, assess clause applicability, manage contractual risk, and support compliant execution throughout the procurement lifecycle.

• Uphold documentation discipline, ensure audit readiness, maintain traceability, and comply with regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of relevant contract compliance experience; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related contract compliance experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant contract compliance experience in the absence of a degree.

• Experience with government contracts and procurement principles as outlined in FAR/DFARS.

• Capability to research regulatory requirements pertaining to customer contracts.

• Proficiency in advanced MS Word redlining.

• Skilled in Excel.

• Familiarity with SharePoint/Teams.

• Ability to organize and chart complex data sets.

• Understanding of General Provisions, Terms & Conditions, regulatory clause compliance, mandatory flow-down requirements, and supplier agreement compliance.

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and amending contract and subcontract language in a highly regulated setting.
