Data Architect, Informatica

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and establish intricate enterprise architectures across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Develop architectures that incorporate microservices, cloud, integration, hybrid environments, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and data models.

• Create scalable and secure architecture solutions for cloud and on-premises environments.

• Offer architectural leadership for data, integration, and application projects.

• Design and supervise API and middleware architectures.

• Formulate data architectures and data modeling strategies for analytical environments.

• Collaborate with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.

• Ensure that solutions comply with standards for security, scalability, performance, and resilience.

• Establish and advocate for data governance and data security practices, which include data lineage, data masking, role management, and access control.

• Guarantee compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act.

• Define and manage access to data and technological environments across both cloud and on-premises platforms.

• Assess and integrate emerging technologies that provide business or technical benefits.

• Work in conjunction with engineering, data, security, DevOps, and business teams to ensure architectural coherence.

• Provide technical direction and contribute to architecture standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly skilled Senior Data & Informatica Architect.

• Extensive experience in data architecture, integration, cloud technologies, Informatica, security, and data governance.

• Proven track record in designing complex enterprise architectures.

• Familiarity with microservices and distributed architectures.

• Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures.

• Advanced skills in data modeling.

• Proficiency in data integration and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience with APIs and middleware technologies.

• Experience working with SQL Server and Oracle.

• Advanced understanding of at least one major cloud platform.

• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and hybrid architectures.

• Extensive experience with the Informatica ecosystem, including Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Cloud / IDMC.

• CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) is highly desirable.

• Master Data Management (MDM) experience is desirable.
