Data Architect, Informatica

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and establish intricate enterprise architectures across both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Create architectures that incorporate microservices, cloud solutions, integration strategies, hybrid environments, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and data models.

• Define architecture solutions that are both scalable and secure.

• Provide architectural leadership for initiatives related to data, integration, and applications.

• Design and manage API and middleware architectures.

• Establish data architectures and data modeling strategies tailored for analytical environments.

• Work with relational database systems such as SQL Server and Oracle.

• Promote and enforce data governance and data security practices, including data lineage, data masking, role management, and access control.

• Define and oversee access to data and technology environments across both cloud and on-premises platforms.

• Assess and integrate emerging technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering, data, security, DevOps, and business teams.

• Provide technical direction and contribute to architecture standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly skilled Senior Data & Informatica Architect.

• Robust experience in designing complex enterprise architectures.

• Proficient in microservices and distributed architecture design.

• Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.

• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises architecture models.

• Advanced skills in data modeling.

• Experience with data integration and enterprise integration patterns.

• Proficiency in APIs and middleware technologies.

• Experience working with SQL Server and Oracle.

• Advanced knowledge of at least one major cloud platform.

• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid architectures.

• Significant expertise with the Informatica ecosystem, including Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Cloud / IDMC.

• CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) highly desired.

• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) is advantageous.

• Capability to ensure security, scalability, performance, and resilience standards.

• Ability to establish and advocate for data governance and data security practices.

• Competence in ensuring compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, data, security, DevOps, and business teams.
