Data Architect, Informatica

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and specify intricate enterprise architectures for both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Develop architectures that encompass microservices, cloud solutions, integrations, hybrid environments, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and data models.

• Establish scalable and secure architectural solutions across cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

• Provide architectural leadership for data, integration, and application projects.

• Design and supervise API and middleware architectures.

• Define data architectures and strategies for data modeling in analytical environments.

• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.

• Ensure that solutions conform to standards for security, scalability, performance, and resilience.

• Establish and encourage data governance and security practices, including data lineage, data masking, role management, and access control.

• Ensure adherence to GDPR and the EU AI Act.

• Define and manage access protocols for data and technology environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.

• Assess and integrate emerging technologies that offer business or technical advantages.

• Collaborate with engineering, data, security, DevOps, and business teams to ensure architectural coherence.

• Offer technical direction and contribute to architecture standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly experienced Senior Data & Informatica Architect.

• Extensive experience in data architecture, integration, cloud technologies, Informatica, security, and data governance.

• Proven track record in designing complex enterprise architectures.

• Experience with microservices and distributed architectures.

• Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures.

• Advanced skills in data modeling.

• Experience with data integration and enterprise integration patterns.

• Proficient in APIs and middleware technologies.

• Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle.

• Advanced knowledge of at least one major cloud platform.

• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Understanding of on-premises infrastructure and hybrid architectures.

• Strong experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Cloud / IDMC.

• CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) is highly desirable.

• Master Data Management (MDM) is a plus.

• Ability to work during CET hours.
