This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop contemporary data architectures and technology solutions that align with business goals.
• Remove data silos and establish a unified source of truth for strategic decision-making.
• Set standards for data modeling, integration, governance, security, data quality, and adherence to the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
• Construct scalable architectures in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), emphasizing Lakehouse platforms.
• Design comprehensive solutions that link business needs to technical decisions.
• Specify technologies, integrations, APIs, orchestration tools, and architectural patterns.
• Provide support to Data Engineering, Development, and Artificial Intelligence teams.
• Direct technical and strategic choices, ensuring performance, sustainability, and solution advancement.
• Engage in the development of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse environments.
• Assess and incorporate legacy systems and ERPs, such as SAP, into contemporary data architectures.
• Establish CI/CD and versioning protocols for data pipelines (DataOps), including automated testing and controlled deployment.
• Implement FinOps principles to oversee and optimize Cloud infrastructure expenses.
• Extensive experience in data architecture and solution architecture.
• Proven experience in designing enterprise architectures and distributed environments.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Expertise in Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse concepts, and data modeling.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, and data platforms, including legacy/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, data quality, and compliance with LGPD.
• Background in digital transformation and technology innovation projects.
• Preferred: Practical experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake.
• Preferred: Involvement in projects related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Preferred: Understanding of architectures for Big Data environments.
• Preferred: Experience in delivering scalable data and AI solutions in production.
• Preferred: Experience with integrating ERP/legacy systems (SAP, ETRM, etc.) in digital transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD processes for data using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of FinOps practices for cost governance in Cloud and Lakehouse settings.
• Contract type: PJ (independent contractor, no benefits) or CLT (formal employment).
