Data and Automation Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and enhance large datasets.

• Create Python-based automation solutions for data collection, transformation, validation, and workflow orchestration.

• Construct and refine data processing workflows utilizing Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.

• Integrate and manage data from various SaaS platforms through REST APIs and other integration methods.

• Develop scalable workflows aimed at lead generation, company and contact enrichment, and sales intelligence.

• Establish processes for data cleansing, deduplication, entity resolution, normalization, and matching of contacts and companies.

• Handle structured, semi-structured, and JSON data from a wide range of internal and external sources.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

• Continuously assess and incorporate new AI tools and technologies that enhance development speed and data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or a related technical discipline.

• Proficient in Python programming with a background in data processing, automation, and API integrations.

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.

• Proven track record of integrating and processing data from multiple SaaS platforms via APIs.

• Strong grasp of lead enrichment, data quality, deduplication, entity resolution, and matching of contacts and companies.

• Experience handling structured, semi-structured, and JSON data formats.

• Familiarity with Git and contemporary software development methodologies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field.

• Extensive user of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI development assistants.

• Proven ability to utilize AI to expedite software development, automate workflows, enhance data quality, and boost productivity.

• Comfortable with rapid prototyping, testing, and iterating through AI-assisted development techniques.

• Hands-on experience with lead generation and sales intelligence platforms like Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

• Understanding of LLM APIs and AI-driven applications.

• Experience in dynamic startup environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to work across functions and take ownership from concept to delivery.
