Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee data pipelines utilizing SQL and Python to extract information from diverse sources and transform it in alignment with business rules.

• Develop and update data models in dbt to ensure scalable and robust data solutions.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and set a timeline for project completion.

• Create, test, and implement changes effectively.

• Continuously monitor and enhance data pipelines and ETLs while proactively identifying potential issues.

• Design and manage complex data infrastructure for financial analytics and business intelligence.

• Integrate intricate financial datasets, guaranteeing high-quality data availability for advanced analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of SQL experience, developing sophisticated SQL solutions to address business challenges.

• A minimum of 5 years of Python experience, creating scalable processes to resolve business issues.

• At least 3 years of experience in data modeling.

• Proficient in using dbt.

• Familiarity with git for version control.

• Experience within the AWS ecosystem and its associated products.

• High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience is required.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

• Strong adaptability and flexibility within the scope of a project as vision, priorities, and timelines evolve.
