This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable data analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies.
• Design, implement, and enhance comprehensive data analytics architectures.
• Create solutions for data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, data visualization, and reporting.
• Implement integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations with Microsoft Power BI.
• Identify performance bottlenecks while optimizing data processing, query performance, and overall system efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Security practice to ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Engage in new opportunity pursuits.
• Stay updated on Microsoft and other data analytics technologies and industry trends.
• Operate across all phases of the data software development lifecycle.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Power BI Data Analyst Associate are advantageous.
• A minimum of eight years of professional experience as a Data Analytics Architect or a Senior Data Integration Developer (Data Engineer), focusing primarily on Microsoft technologies.
• At least one year of full-lifecycle greenfield architectural experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Innovative, curious, and adaptable to evolving technological landscapes.
• Professional demeanor in organizational and client interactions.
• Strong customer service orientation and capability to resolve communication or technical challenges.
• Ability to present and engage in requirements elicitation and brainstorming sessions.
• Experience in facilitating and gathering information to design solutions that are focused on needs.
• Demonstrated business acumen aligned with organizational objectives.
• Proficient in data modeling, data integration, and data visualization using Microsoft technologies.
• Capable of designing scalable and efficient data analytics architectures.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and principles of data quality.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance considerations.
• Competency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure data platform architecture.
• Familiarity with dimensional and normalized data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Experience conducting data architecture reviews and assessments.
• Proficient in ETL/ELT development, data pipeline orchestration, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration using Azure Machine Learning, Python, or R is a plus.
• Experience with source control management tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, JIRA, and SVN.
• Exposure to Scrum, Agile, or KANBAN methodologies.
• Willingness to travel four to six times a year, with a maximum of 24 days away from home annually.
• Must be a resident of Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Arizona, or South Dakota at the time of application.
