Data Analyst, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with operations and customer support management teams on complex analytic tasks from start to finish.

• Formulate key questions, establish metrics, and present evidence-based narratives that influence strategic decisions on roadmaps.

• Cultivate strong relationships with operations leadership and cross-functional collaborators.

• Conduct high-impact, ad hoc analyses of operations data and translate insights into actionable recommendations that enhance customer experiences.

• Develop self-service analytics solutions, including dashboards, metric definitions, reusable queries/notebooks, and comprehensive documentation.

• Utilize data analytics methodologies and tools within operations while guiding stakeholders in their application.

• Mentor and support teammates through constructive reviews, feedback, and collaborative efforts.

• Take ownership of initiative commitments by clarifying scope, maintaining documentation, communicating impact, and adjusting priorities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with operations teams to drive significant product enhancements.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Databricks, or PowerBI.

• Experience with light work in DBT or Airflow is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of data systems and processes.

• Expertise in creating scalable, repeatable self-service analytics.

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

• Capable of ensuring that analytics tools are accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner.

• Experience in fintech, banking, or finance is a plus.

• Regularly leverage AI to assist in work while being aware of its trade-offs.
