Analyst / Senior Analyst, Data Quality

📋 Description

• Examine and resolve data-related issues by identifying, tracking, and addressing root causes of data discrepancies.

• Establish data validations, reconciliations, and controls to enhance data quality.

• Develop and sustain automated checks to monitor the integrity of policy, premium, and claims data.

• Convert business requirements into specifications for Data Engineering.

• Define and document shared data definitions.

• Design data workflows and system integrations to support the company's transition from MGA to full-stack carrier.

• Collaborate with engineering, data excellence, pricing and analytics, finance, and compliance teams.

• Foster organizational trust in reporting and analytics while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in analyzing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance data, including policy, premium, claims, or submission metrics, in support of actuarial, analytics, or finance functions.

• Proficient in advanced SQL, Excel, and Power BI for investigation, data modeling, and reporting.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to trace complex data discrepancies back to their source.

• Comfortable incorporating AI tools into daily workflows.

• Self-motivated individual who takes responsibility, excels in a fast-paced environment, and manages ambiguity effectively.

• Familiarity with integrating data with finance/ERP systems such as Workday.

• Experience working at an MGA or with a carrier that collaborates with MGAs.

• Exposure to Snowflake, Python, Power Query, and/or AI tools.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
