Data Analyst, FM Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a vital contributor and trusted advisor on initiatives focused on data-driven transformation that support Army Audit Readiness and the modernization of financial management objectives.

• Create and develop executive-level dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations that convert complex financial, operational, logistics, and acquisition data into actionable insights.

• Serve as a product manager for financial management and enterprise technology solutions, outlining product vision, requirements, and roadmaps that align with audit readiness and compliance goals.

• Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to collect business requirements, facilitate prioritization, and guide the development of solutions across cross-functional teams.

• Evaluate business processes, financial systems, and operational workflows to pinpoint opportunities for modernization, automation, and performance enhancement.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of enterprise platforms, ERP solutions, advanced analytics, and automation tools, including Power BI, Qlik, Power Apps, Databricks, and other business intelligence technologies.

• Offer subject matter expertise on federal financial management, logistics, procurement, and audit readiness business processes.

• Ensure that solutions conform to federal financial management standards, auditability requirements, governance frameworks, and organizational objectives.

• Guide Agile teams, manage product backlogs, and coordinate iterative delivery efforts to implement high-value solutions.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, process enhancement, and capability development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• SEVEN (7) or more years of experience in data analytics, financial management, business transformation, product management, enterprise systems, or technology modernization initiatives.

• Experience in developing data visualizations and reporting solutions using tools like Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• Proven experience in gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and converting business needs into technology-enabled solutions.

• Demonstrated knowledge of federal financial management processes, audit readiness requirements, compliance standards, and performance management frameworks.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting enterprise business systems, ERP platforms, or large-scale financial management environments.

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, Product Management, or related fields are preferred.

• Experience working with Army, Defense, or other federal financial management organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, GFEBS, LMP, Navy ERP, or similar enterprise business systems is preferred.

• Experience in supporting business process modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise technology implementation initiatives is preferred.

• Knowledge of procurement, logistics, supply chain, or financial management business processes is preferred.

• Experience in supporting audit readiness, financial improvement initiatives, or CFO organizations is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading client engagements, facilitating workshops, and managing complex stakeholder environments is preferred.
