Data Analyst, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, cleanse, convert, and structure data.

• Assist Data Science and Machine Learning projects.

• Contribute to the creation and operationalization of analytical models.

• Uphold best practices in data governance, security, and quality.

• Engage in a strategic project employing agile methodologies within an innovative setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in data analysis, processing, and manipulation.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Familiarity with Databricks.

• Knowledge of Python for data analysis and processing.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Proficient in Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.

• Understanding of data modeling and architecture.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with business insight.

• Intermediate experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science projects, with the ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of Java and/or Scala is a plus.

• Experience with statistical and predictive models is a plus.

• Familiarity with time series analysis and clustering is a plus.

• Experience in Machine Learning, including regression, decision trees, clustering, and neural networks is a plus.

• Understanding of MLOps is a plus.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.

• Cloud and/or Databricks certifications are a plus.
