Data Analyst, Disability Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with operational teams to design analytic and business intelligence solutions.

• Develop intricate stored procedures for data extraction and transformation to facilitate analysis and automate processes.

• Serve as an expert in Disability data.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Power BI to visualize and present data for management.

• Assist with ad-hoc business inquiries regarding data and analysis.

• Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics Data Scientists on various initiatives.

• Leverage data to identify opportunities and address business challenges.

• Generate insights that improve customer experiences, foster business growth, reduce risks, and engage employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient database knowledge with the capability to create complex code for processing and interpreting extensive data sets.

• Familiarity with visualization and BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

• Advanced SQL proficiency using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2016 or later.

• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Commitment to continuous learning, adaptability to change, and a focus on improvement.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at conveying technical concepts to management.

• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, decision-making, multitasking, prioritization, and collaboration.

• Experience with Agile/Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Python, Java, R, VBA, or Visual Studio.

• Preferred: Knowledge of predictive models and advanced analytics.
