This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with operational teams to create analytical and business intelligence solutions.

• Develop intricate stored procedures for data extraction and transformation to facilitate data analysis and automate processes.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Disability data.

• Utilize tools like Microsoft Power BI to visualize and present data for management.

• Provide support for ad-hoc business inquiries requiring data and analysis.

• Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics team, comprising Data Scientists, on various initiatives.

• Leverage data to identify opportunities and address business challenges.

• Produce insights that improve customer experience, drive business growth, mitigate risks, and enhance employee engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive database expertise with the capability to develop complex code for processing and interpreting large datasets.

• Proficient in visualization and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

• Advanced SQL proficiency utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2016 or higher.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to management.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, multitasking, prioritization, and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma principles.

• Preferred: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, R, VBA, or Visual Studio.

• Preferred: Knowledge of predictive modeling and advanced analytics.

• Preferred: Experience and understanding of the Financial Services and Group Benefits sectors.
