Data Analyst – Demand Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate demand planning performance metrics, such as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Forecast Value Add, and additional planning indicators.

• Create, sustain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, reports, and solutions for performance monitoring.

• Conduct root cause analysis for forecast discrepancies, planning shortfalls, and operational performance challenges.

• Examine demand trends, customer behaviors, product performance, and essential business drivers.

• Aggregate and verify data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

• Assist in the monthly Demand Review and business review processes by providing data-driven insights and performance reports.

• Collaborate with planners, commercial teams, finance, supply planning, technology stakeholders, and external partners.

• Play a role in planning transformations, implementing new capabilities, enhancing processes, testing activities, and driving business adoption efforts.

• Document reporting methodologies, KPI definitions, governance standards, and analytical procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related analytical field.

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience with large datasets, reporting solutions, and performance measurement frameworks.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficient in using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.

• Understanding of data analysis, dashboard development, reporting automation, and performance management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex insights for a variety of stakeholders.

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

• Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) Demand Planning.

• Familiarity with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Demand Review processes.

• Proficient in SQL and advanced data querying techniques.

• Knowledge of forecasting performance metrics, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and Forecast Value Add.

• Experience within global, matrixed organizations engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Experience supporting OTC Scent & Taste and/or PWB business processes.

• Knowledge of MyBIS reporting environments, analytics solutions, and planning data structures.
