Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to data inquiries from fundraising, department leaders, and executive management.

• Conduct analyses for organization-wide and grant reporting activities.

• Transform recurring data requests into standardized reports.

• Develop and enhance Looker Studio dashboards for fundraising, Unpacked for Educators, ConnectED, and Amplified initiatives.

• Create cross-departmental KPI visualizations and assist colleagues in finding independent solutions.

• Verify BigQuery tables and metrics against originating platforms.

• Identify and troubleshoot reporting issues.

• Construct corrected versions in the analytics layer for implementation by the warehouse team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a comparable position.

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficient in writing SQL in BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse, including data validation across multiple sources and schema design.

• Comfortable using Looker Studio or other BI tools, advanced Excel, and a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.

• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude for day-to-day analytical tasks.

• Strong analytical skills, organized, and capable of overseeing projects from request to completion.

• Ability to communicate numerical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Inquisitive and self-driven.

• Available full-time for a 6-month maternity leave cover, with the potential for long-term employment, working remotely with no travel required.
