This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assist in data analysis, reporting, and the delivery of analytical solutions within a federal healthcare context.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to determine analytical needs and clarify business inquiries.
• Convert stakeholder requirements into data analysis, reporting, and decision-support deliverables.
• Gather, validate, organize, and analyze data from various sources, including client databases, web-based resources, reporting platforms, and other program assets.
• Employ analytical tools, SQL, Python, Excel, BI/reporting platforms, and other authorized technologies to produce analytical products, reports, and applications.
• Analyze business data and create findings, recommendations, reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis products.
• Investigate best practices and assist in providing solutions, recommendations, methodologies, and process enhancements.
• Engage in working sessions, requirements discussions, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities.
• Work alongside Agile delivery teams to document requirements, track analysis tasks, communicate risks or obstacles, and refine analytics products based on stakeholder feedback.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US and have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Capable of obtaining a U.S. Federal government client badge and passing a government Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required; alternatively, four (4) years of specialized experience may suffice in lieu of a degree.
• Relevant advanced certifications may be considered as a substitute for part of the required experience.
• Proven experience in data collection, data analysis, business analysis, reporting, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
• Experience in supporting the gathering of analytical requirements, engaging in stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into data analysis or reporting outputs.
• Background in developing ad hoc reports, dashboards, data summaries, recommendations, and decision-support documentation.
• Proficient in using SQL, Excel, Python, BI/reporting tools, or similar analytical instruments to manipulate, analyze, and present data.
• Familiarity with code repository tools such as GitHub is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with analytics, application, and platform teams in an Agile setting.
• Previous experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services or other governmental agencies is advantageous.
