Data & AI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain data models and pipelines within the data warehouse, currently utilizing Snowflake and dbt.

• Execute integrations that connect CRM, project management, field data, and remote sensing tools.

• Incorporate new partner data sources onto the platform, which includes soil labs, remote sensing, and agricultural management data.

• Take ownership of data quality across the platform and collaborate with teams to address issues at their source.

• Provide analytics for leadership reporting, customer insights, and data products.

• Construct and validate AI tools aimed at minimizing manual tasks in verification and operational delivery.

• Collaborate with platform users to comprehend challenges and develop suitable solutions.

• Oversee the delivery of the data platform along with its pipelines, integrations, analytics, and AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data or analytics engineering.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, or a comparable stack.

• Experience in constructing API integrations.

• Familiarity with using LLMs to address real-world business challenges.

• Capability to comprehend business operations and identify discrepancies in data.

• Ability to engage in discussions about trade-offs with non-data stakeholders.

• Experience with agricultural, environmental, or remote sensing data is advantageous.
