Cybersecurity Technical Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert knowledge and operational assistance for security software.

• Assess application health and computer networks to identify, evaluate, and resolve security concerns.

• Analyze and document technical requirements related to cybersecurity, encompassing both hardware and software components.

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams across various domains to identify and rectify application and network vulnerabilities.

• Assist application teams with their integration into standard cybersecurity frameworks.

• Develop code that facilitates communication between different layers of cybersecurity technology.

• Perform security reviews and manage remediation initiatives.

• Design and establish intricate security architectures for networks or applications.

• Provide cybersecurity support across multiple departments and engage with staff and management at all organizational levels.

• Operate Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm Arizona time, with an on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Cybersecurity, and/or computer science.

• Certification in SSCP, HCISSP, CompTIA Security+, HIPAA Security, Information Security Technology Fundamentals, Internet Security, or ITAA Information Security Awareness must be obtained within one year of starting the position.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting or an equivalent mix of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience.

• General understanding of information technology and healthcare.

• Experience in planning and reporting for small projects, either independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication and presentation skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate across different facilities and at various organizational levels.

• Expertise in cybersecurity principles and best practices.

• Flexibility in shifts and hours may be required, including responding to a pager.
