This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead customer presentations and conduct equipment demonstrations, either on-site or virtually.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to cultivate and strengthen customer relationships while achieving strategic and tactical goals.
• Assist in the development of proposals and customized solution presentations.
• Participate in on-site customer meetings as needed, providing technical expertise and guidance on solutions.
• Ensure the alignment of client requirements with proposed architectures.
• Travel to customer sites as necessary based on project demands.
• Provide architect-level oversight for large and complex projects.
• Uphold best practices in design, implementation, and integration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain technical leadership across all stages of project delivery.
• Offer architect-level technical support during project initiation and, when required, post-implementation.
• Facilitate seamless transitions and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
• Identify, position, and advocate for opportunities regarding MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in a relevant technology field.
• A minimum of two (2) years of pre-sales engineering experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks: NIST (CSF, 800-53, 800-171), CJIS, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and/or GAIC certifications are preferred.
• Experience in positioning and selling security consulting services.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity maturity assessments, penetration tests, compromise assessments, and tabletop exercises.
• Capability to deliver customer-facing tabletop exercises.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls from vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE/Juniper (SRX), and Cisco; vendor certifications are preferred.
• Experience with EDR/MDR solutions, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Palo Alto, and SentinelOne.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR solutions, including Azure Sentinel, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Tines.
• Knowledge of the OSI network model, Ethernet switching, and TCP/IP routing.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale solutions, including budgetary and detailed cost estimation.
• Ability to convert customer requirements into bills of materials (BOM) and system designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to new technologies.
• Outstanding customer presentation skills.

• Desirable, but not mandatory: knowledge of ADCs/load balancers, WAF/application-layer firewalls, ZTNA platforms, SSE/SASE technologies, SD-WAN, and client/site-to-site VPN technologies.
