This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate customer presentations and equipment demonstrations, either on-site or virtually.
• Collaborate with the sales team to cultivate and maintain customer relationships while achieving strategic and tactical goals.
• Assist in the creation of proposals and customized solution presentations.
• Participate in on-site customer meetings as necessary.
• Offer technical expertise and solution recommendations, ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures.
• Provide architect-level oversight on large and complex projects throughout their design, implementation, and integration phases.
• Maintain technical leadership during all stages of project delivery.
• Deliver architect-level technical support at project initiation and, if needed, post-implementation.
• Ensure a smooth project transition and sustained client satisfaction.
• Identify, position, and advocate for opportunities related to MGT’s MSP solutions, such as Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
• Travel to customer sites as dictated by project requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in a relevant technology sector.
• At least two (2) years of experience in pre-sales engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks including NIST (CSF, 800-53, 800-171), CJIS, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and/or GAIC.
• Vendor certifications are a plus.
• Experience in positioning and selling security consulting services.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity maturity assessments, penetration tests, compromise assessments, and tabletop exercises.
• Experience in conducting customer-facing tabletop exercises.
• Knowledge of next-generation firewalls from providers like Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE/Juniper (SRX), and Cisco.
• Understanding of EDR/MDR solutions from CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, and others.
• Familiar with SIEM and SOAR solutions, including Azure Sentinel, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Tines.
• Knowledge of the OSI network model, Ethernet switching, and TCP/IP routing.
• Desirable but not mandatory: experience with ADCs/load balancers, WAF/application-layer firewalls, ZTNA platforms, SSE/SASE technologies, SD-WAN, and client/site-to-site VPN technologies.
• Proven capability to design and implement large-scale solutions, including budgetary and detailed cost estimates.
• Ability to convert customer requirements into bills of material (BOM) and system designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
