This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and uphold extensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard organizational assets from cyber threats.

• Perform routine risk assessments and vulnerability scans to detect security weaknesses and mitigate potential risks.

• Contribute to the design of security architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.

• Oversee security infrastructure, investigate incidents, and apply incident response protocols.

• Incorporate security controls within the application, system, and network development lifecycles.

• Remain informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

• Engage in security audits, compliance evaluations, and regulatory reviews.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, procedures, and incident response strategies.

• Identify avenues for automation and enhancement of security operations.

• Design, build, and automate security capabilities, managing tooling and detection from start to finish.

• Enhance Splunk, cloud security controls, and incident response functionalities through codified, tested, automated, and measurable engineering practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles.

• Familiarity with networking protocols, security technologies, operating systems, and risk management principles.

• Experience in security incident response and mitigation.

• Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, DLP, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessment tools.

• Strong grasp of networking, security technologies, operating systems, and programming.

• Proficient in utilizing security tools to identify, prevent, and respond to cyber threats.

• Capability to assess complex systems, identify weaknesses, evaluate risks, and propose security solutions.

• Ability to investigate security incidents and resolve issues effectively.

• Skilled in reviewing logs, alerts, and system configurations for potential security risks.

• Understanding of applicable regulations, security standards, and best practices.

• Competence in articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

• Ethical management of confidential information and critical systems.

• Ability to collaborate across IT, cloud, development, and compliance teams.

• Proactive and adaptable approach to the evolving landscape of technologies and threats.
