Cyber Claim Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake of cyber incidents, coordinating with breach counsel, forensic investigators, and other service providers.

• Engage in after-hours claim intake and incident response coordination as necessary.

• Assess the full range of pending claims related to postings and recommend appropriate reserves.

• Ensure precise documentation and information in the claims management system.

• Evaluate liability and damage data concerning complex claims and maintain suitable documentation.

• Investigate insurance coverage matters.

• Compose coverage correspondence.

• Supervise and monitor the work and expenses of third-party vendors and service providers.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with brokers, risk managers of insured parties, general counsels, and vendors.

• Identify settlement prospects to enhance impact.

• Collaborate on the defense and resolution of claims.

• Offer data- and analytics-driven informational support to underwriters.

• Assist business development efforts related to marketing.

• Communicate with partner carriers on a daily basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adjusting cyber claims.

• A Juris Doctor or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Must hold a valid claims adjuster license in your state of residence and be able to obtain licensing in NY, TX, FL, GA, MI, WA, NC, CT, and AZ.

• Proven ability to collaborate within a team, interact effectively, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Team-oriented with the capability to excel in a cooperative environment while also working independently.
