CX Marketing Developer – Email & Web Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop responsive, cross-client HTML emails based on Figma designs and specifications.

• Create and manage a modular library of email templates, ensuring support for dark mode.

• Design landing pages and other lightweight web pages that adhere to the established design system.

• Configure campaigns and multi-step journeys, incorporating audience logic, triggers, timing, and suppression.

• Implement A/B and multivariate testing.

• Set up templates, merge tags, dynamic content, and personalization features.

• Conduct quality assurance for every build across major email clients and devices, as well as different web browsers.

• Address rendering, deliverability-related, and journey logic challenges.

• Document templates and processes to facilitate reuse by team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience coding production emails by hand (using table-based layouts, inline CSS, MSO conditional code, and bulletproof buttons).

• In-depth understanding of client rendering inconsistencies across various email providers.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating responsive and accessible web pages.

• Comfortable working with Rails and Next/React.

• Solid knowledge of SQL for verifying production data independently.

• Ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to new challenges.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership of quality assurance, and collaborating closely with design teams.

• Practical experience in building and launching lifecycle campaigns and journeys in an ESP or marketing automation platform.

• Familiarity with proper testing protocols and hygiene.

• Proficient in interpreting Figma files and translating them accurately.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to testing before deployment.

• Maintain builds that are clean, modular, and easy for future edits.

• Capable of handling multiple small production requests efficiently.

• Experience with Iterable.

• Knowledge of hosting assets via a CDN and working with custom fonts.

• Background in healthcare, fintech, or another regulated industry.

• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) for both email and web.

• Basic familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• A portfolio or code samples demonstrating both email and web projects.
