Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical and on-label subject matter expert for UNLOXCYT’s mechanism of action, administration protocol, safety profile, and clinical benefits.

• Assist in preparing infusion sites by training nursing staff, pharmacists, and advanced practice providers on product management, adverse-event handling, and patient guidance.

• Recognize and address educational needs within assigned accounts.

• Offer onboarding support to new prescribers and care sites.

• Aid healthcare teams at infusion centers with immuno-oncology concepts, infusion/injection techniques, adverse-event identification, and drug-drug interactions.

• Partner with Sun Pharma commercial teams for strategic account planning and focused execution.

• Represent Sun Pharma at local, regional, and national industry conferences.

• Utilize clinical insights and feedback from healthcare providers to shape local field strategies and national plans.

• Engage compliantly with patient advocacy organizations to enhance disease awareness and treatment comprehension.

• Assist in developing internal training resources and contribute to the education and clinical proficiency of the field force.

• Work collaboratively with fellow CNE colleagues to ensure adequate territory coverage.

• Continuously evaluate the healthcare landscape.

• Employ analytics to formulate clinical education plans for healthcare professionals.

• Assess educational engagements and modify them to meet ongoing educational requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid RN license is mandatory.

• A BSN degree is required.

• An MSN or other advanced nursing degree (NP, APRN, DNP) is highly encouraged.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic environment is required.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in oncology/immunology nursing is necessary.

• OCN/AOCN/AOCNP certification is desirable, or a commitment to obtain it within 18 months of employment.

• Preferred experience includes 2+ years as a field-based nurse educator or in a commercial educator role.

• Infusion experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies, or buy-and-bill products is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

• Ability to convey complex scientific information in an engaging, patient-centered manner.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills are required.

• Familiarity with PhRMA and Sunshine Act reporting obligations is beneficial.

• Capacity to quickly and comprehensively learn new subject matter.

• Emotional intelligence and a positive attitude in uncertain situations.

• Proactive attitude, initiative, and readiness to work urgently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong business insight and the ability to analyze and apply data effectively.

• Existing experience and relationships with healthcare providers within the designated territory.

• Residency within the territory is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight trips.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.

• Commitment to meet vendor credentialing standards, including vaccination requirements at healthcare facilities.
