Customer Support Specialist – Utility Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Support renter clients in placing utility orders

• Clarify utility options for renters

• Interact with renters via phone, text, and email

• Make outgoing calls to follow up with renters

• Liaise with utility providers as necessary

• Confirm and complete renter utility orders

• Provide additional support to clients or team members as time permits

• Keep team members informed about work progress

• Securely manage sensitive customer information

• Must be available for full-time work with some weekend shifts

• Proficient in English

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong listening skills and attention to detail

• Determination in completing utility order processes and following up via phone, text, and email

• Initiative in providing proactive team updates

• Capability to maintain confidentiality and securely manage sensitive data

• Willingness to undergo a standard background check

• Comfortable with using and learning new technologies

• Ability to navigate multiple applications and windows

• Highly organized and adept at managing various tasks in a busy environment

• Skilled in multitasking

• Personable, friendly, and empathetic

• Adaptable to changing processes and utility options

• Goal-oriented and competitive

• Requires a desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection

• Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in sales and/or customer service

• Must be located in Mexico or within 2 hours of the US Central Time Zone for remote work

• Required to use personal equipment as an independent contractor
