This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a call center setting.
• Handle and respond to phone inquiries from policyholders, beneficiaries, providers, agents, and other stakeholders regarding insurance policies.
• Offer information and support to providers, agents, policyholders, and others concerning Medicare Supplement and Life Policies.
• Address insurance-related questions, including benefit verification and claims status, by accessing and updating data in the software system.
• Ensure service and follow-up by examining company records, executing routine transactions, and retrieving data from an online terminal.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services.
• Adhere to company regulations related to privacy, confidentiality, and private health information.
• Communicate both in writing and orally regarding the status and resolution of inquiries.
• Initiate and complete Call Tracks, checklists, and other clerical tasks as necessary.
• Present information and speak simultaneously during meetings.
• Collaborate effectively while upholding accountability and independence.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• At least six months of relevant call center experience and/or training is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
• Strong collaborative team spirit.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Must pass background screening and drug tests before and after hiring, including THC.
• Verification of high school, GED, or college diploma will be requested.
• Timely responses required from three professional references.
• A dedicated remote work environment free from background noise, interruptions, and clutter is essential.
• Consistent and reliable internet connection is mandatory.
• Access to a smartphone for Multi-Factor Authentication and communication is necessary.
• Accurate data entry skills in a Windows-based environment are required.
• Intermediate computer skills are necessary.
• Basic knowledge of math, English spelling, and grammar is expected.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Capability to write straightforward correspondence.
• Proficiency in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
• Aptitude for applying common sense and solving problems in standardized situations.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods and utilize a computer and phone line.
• Skills to read, hear, speak, use a keyboard, reason, and solve problems.
• Competence in using office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, and copiers.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds.
