This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional customer service within a call center setting by answering and addressing telephone inquiries.
• Support providers, agents, policyholders, and others with questions from third-party administrator clients, including Medicare Supplement and Life Policies.
• Provide details related to insurance inquiries, such as verification of benefits and claims status.
• Access and modify software system data in line with company response standards.
• Investigate company records to gather requested information.
• Execute routine transactions and retrieve outcomes from an online terminal.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of company products and services.
• Adhere to company regulations concerning privacy, confidentiality, and private health information.
• Communicate both in writing and orally regarding the status and resolution of inquiries.
• Initiate and complete Call Tracks, checklists, and related clerical duties.
• Collaborate effectively while remaining accountable and capable of working independently and remotely.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• A minimum of six months of relevant call center experience and/or training.
• Capability to pass background checks and drug tests before and after hiring, including THC.
• Verification of high school, GED, or college diploma will be requested.
• Prompt responses from three professional references are necessary.
• A dedicated remote work environment that is free from background noise, interruptions, and cluttered desks.
• A consistent and reliable internet connection is essential.
• Access to a smartphone for Multi-Factor Authentication and communication purposes.
• Proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Accurate data entry in a Windows-based environment.
• Intermediate-level computer skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of math, English spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Capability to write basic correspondence and convey information effectively.
• Proficiency in performing arithmetic calculations, computing rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions and standardized problems.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and phone line.
• Competence in reading, hearing, speaking, using a keyboard, reasoning, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, and copiers.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.
• Preferred: Experience with Long Term Care Insurance in a call center environment.
• Preferred: Two years of relevant call center and customer service experience.
