This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support to the Customer Service Call Center concerning physician billing for various clients.
• Manage a high volume of calls while ensuring exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Follow up on unresolved issues from conversations with patients or guarantors.
• Respond to patient calls in alignment with call center performance metrics.
• Assist patients with sensitive and confidential inquiries related to billing.
• Prioritize effectively while managing multiple tasks and client information.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other related customer service tasks as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical customer service role is preferred.
• Prior experience in a call center setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
• Experience with medical billing systems is required; familiarity with GE Centricity or EPIC is a plus.
• Ability to work in a seated position, operate a computer, and answer telephone calls.
• Must be willing to travel as necessary.
• Required to obtain and present confirmation of all necessary vaccinations and screenings prior to employment, as applicable and permitted by law.
• Must adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
• Must follow the established work schedule and call center phone protocols.
• Position may qualify for a signing bonus for eligible new hires, subject to employment conditions.
