This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.
• Perform outbound outreach while also addressing member inquiries through incoming calls.
• Foster trust through active listening, empathy, and patience as you evaluate members’ needs and concerns.
• Investigate and connect members with local resources related to food assistance, housing, utilities, financial aid, and other community services.
• Ensure timely follow-up so that members receive the necessary support and information.
• Advocate for members by assisting them in navigating available resources and overcoming barriers to care.
• Utilize various systems and tools, including multiple monitors, to document interactions and manage member support activities.
• Create memorable member experiences and make meaningful contributions to communities.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Exceptional computer skills, including typing proficiency, multitasking across online applications, and navigating multiple screens.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products, such as Outlook and Excel.
• Capability to consistently access a designated workspace that is free from noise and other distractions.
• High-speed internet with the ability to connect via ethernet from cable modem to PC.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual candidates preferred, with the ability to pass language certification if applicable.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a call center environment related to inbound/outbound calls.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Medicaid, particularly regarding resource navigation.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in active listening.
• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
• A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy toward customers’ needs and concerns.
• A desire to foster a positive team spirit.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus after 9 months of service, with continuous employment required for a minimum of 12 months.
