Customer Service Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Interact with inbound customers via phone and online, identifying their needs and assisting them throughout the car-buying journey.

• Utilize CarMax’s extensive inventory knowledge to suggest vehicles that match customer preferences.

• Support customers with online sales processes, appraisals, financing applications, and scheduling vehicle deliveries.

• Facilitate a seamless transition from online shopping to in-store purchasing.

• Meet individual sales and performance objectives while delivering a remarkable customer experience.

• Fulfill licensing requirements, including acquiring an Automotive Salesperson License in relevant states.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior sales or customer service experience, preferably in retail or similar fields.

• Capability to excel in a dynamic environment while handling multiple customer interactions.

• Strong listening abilities coupled with a customer-centric approach.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficient with modern technology and contact center systems, such as Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and Genesys or equivalent platforms.

• Candidates must reside within 60 miles or 1 hour of the Customer Experience Center (CEC) location.

• Ability to obtain an Automotive Salesperson License in applicable states, which may involve testing and travel.
