This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute field service tasks, which include repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and the installation and validation of instrumentation and accessories.

• Deliver onsite user training for specified product categories.

• Schedule and conduct monthly routine maintenance.

• Provide service on behalf of PerkinElmer's international offices when necessary.

• Keep service documentation, manuals, safety materials, and procedures updated in line with the Quality Management System.

• Align work practices with departmental performance objectives and ensure adherence to team targets.

• Manage service spare parts and inventory records, while identifying and addressing discrepancies.

• Confirm that tools and testing equipment are sufficient and calibrated as needed.

• Submit weekly or as needed service documentation, reports, timesheets, expense claims, and vehicle log sheets.

• Promote and market instruments, service products, consumables, and service contracts.

• Provide support for Material Characterization products, including FTIR, UV/Vis, and Thermal Analysis, as well as the Inorganic portfolio, which includes AA, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS.

• Uphold a high standard of professional appearance and exemplify the value of customer support as a representative of the company.
