Customer Service Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Interact with incoming customers through online channels and phone calls.

• Identify customer needs and assist them throughout the car-buying journey.

• Suggest vehicles that match customer preferences using knowledge of CarMax inventory.

• Assist customers with online sales, appraisals, financing applications, and scheduling vehicle deliveries.

• Facilitate a seamless transition from online shopping to in-store purchasing.

• Meet individual sales and performance goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Fulfill licensing requirements, including obtaining an Automotive Salesperson License in relevant states.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably in retail or similar settings.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple customer interactions.

• Strong listening abilities and a customer-centric approach.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficiency in modern technology and contact center systems, such as Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and Genesys or equivalent.

• Must reside within 60 miles or a 1-hour commute of the Customer Experience Center location.

• Ability to secure an Automotive Salesperson License in applicable states, which may necessitate testing and travel.
