Customer Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Perform direct sales activities at retailer, distributor, and wholesaler headquarters to enhance company sales.

• Oversee designated brokers to implement company strategies and achieve targeted outcomes.

• Assess broker resources and conduct regular evaluations with constructive feedback.

• Organize and participate in key account meetings and reviews that align with the company’s goals.

• Ensure mandated profit contribution levels are maintained through efficient budget management.

• Leverage syndicated data to pinpoint opportunities and deliver post-analysis insights to management.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Management to discover opportunities and formulate regional initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, ideally in Business, Economics, Marketing, or Finance.

• Minimum of 8–10 years of field sales experience is mandatory.

• Experience with ADUSA is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of the retail/grocery sector.

• Familiarity with national account policies, strategies, and operational procedures.

• Comprehensive knowledge of syndicated data sources, such as AC Nielsen.

• Proven experience working with regional grocery chains.

• Expertise in broker management and motivational techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize technology for assessing sales performance and profitability.

• Willingness to travel nationally 25–50% of the time.
