Custom Jewelry Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture customer relationships via online messaging.

• Oversee ongoing customer relationships while supporting upcoming projects.

• Comprehend customer preferences to provide design and material suggestions.

• Collaborate with technical teams to convert customer ideas into manufacturable designs.

• Present concept sketches and 3D visualizations, address inquiries, and collect feedback.

• Relay design modifications to CAD designers and concept sketch artists.

• Share and explore diamond or gemstone options with customers.

• Generate and present customer quotes that align with budget and design specifications.

• Organize and oversee project timelines across sketching, CAD, and manufacturing phases.

• Manage post-production communication, including resizing, repairs, maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Review communication strategies, technical advice, and project plans with management.

• Explore new methodologies and resources.

• Foster positive relationships with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey personality through text.

• Experience in client-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, luxury retail, or account management.

• A strong passion for jewelry and design, along with an interest in the creative development process.

• A keen eye for visual aesthetics.

• Resourceful with the capability to make sound decisions in the absence of complete information.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Proven history of achieving impressive sales performance.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Background in fine jewelry sales.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Technical experience as a jewelry designer, bench jeweler, or artist.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Graduate Gemologist degree or prior coursework from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

• Preferred but not mandatory: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable college or university.
