Custody Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Review and document cash and in-kind asset transfers within the trust accounting system.

• Collaborate with sub-custodians to facilitate the settlement of trades from booking to settlement for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.

• Conduct reconciliations of invested assets and cash activities between the trust accounting system and sub-custodian by established deadlines.

• Work closely with Implementation Managers and Investment teams to onboard new and conversion-qualified plans onto the client's platform.

• Coordinate with receiving record keepers to liquidate and transfer plan assets from the client's platform.

• Update, maintain, and review client information within CRM systems.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure adherence to expected timelines.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of documented operating procedures related to assigned functions.

• Collaborate across departments to improve onboarding processes and deliver exceptional service to plan sponsors.

• Have a solid understanding of the trading and settlement processes for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.

• Exhibit a strong aptitude for numbers and possess knowledge of cash and traditional securities reconciliations.

• Show a keen interest in learning, creating, and rapidly iterating on processes.

• Be proactive and analytical, with the ability to solve problems and suggest solutions.

• Display a high level of organization and reliability.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing client expectations effectively.

• Familiarity with collaboration, project management, and CRM tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Jira.

• General understanding of ERISA rules and requirements, along with experience using one or more compliance/record-keeping systems (e.g., SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS).
