This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Develop and maintain a prominent territory while driving sales for the promoted product range.
• Oversee the designated territory by targeting healthcare professionals, including physicians, biomedical engineers, nurses, and pharmacy stakeholders.
• Promote products in alignment with approved labeling and marketing strategies.
• Conduct financial analyses of accounts and engage in compliant contract negotiations.
• Formulate strategic territory management plans aimed at enhancing revenue growth.
• Achieve customer promotional reach and frequency objectives.
• Participate in the rotational after-hours Customer Care call schedule.
• Communicate effectively with specialty physicians.
• Provide timely updates on work hours, sales calls, customer goals, communication responses, and expenses.
• Negotiate and exert influence in the Japanese hospital contracting and tendering processes.
• Analyze sales data and convert insights into actionable account and territory strategies.
• Manage monthly invoicing by verifying product hourly usage and hospital approvals.
• Oversee partner-company relationships to ensure efficient product supply to hospitals.
• Execute Post Market Surveillance activities, including contracting, CRF collection, and reporting.
• Operate within approved budgets while providing field communication and guidance.
• Coordinate with field and internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Operations, and Technical Support.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Report directly to the regional Sales Manager.
• Proficiency in the Japanese language is crucial.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of sales experience is required.
• Experience with medical device products is advantageous.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery is a plus.
• Strong skills in KOL engagement.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence others without formal authority.
• A proactive approach to work.
• Receptive to feedback and the opinions/recommendations of others.
• Familiarity with contracting and tendering processes in the Japanese hospital landscape.
• Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and convert insights into actionable account/territory plans.
