Credentialing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support in administrative and clerical tasks to the Credentialing team.

• Oversee the management of documentation as well as compliance and verification processes.

• Assist in maintaining both pending and active files for Clinicians.

• Manage CE Direct accounts and establish new Clinician accounts as necessary.

• Input, process, and renew registrations with the National Practitioner Data Bank.

• Aid Clinicians in completing I-9 forms and conduct visual inspections of supporting documents.

• Perform E-Verify for new hires and re-verification for returning employees.

• Track expiring items and provide daily status reports to Clients.

• Highlight at-risk items that could affect Clinician assignments.

• Generate weekly reports on expiring compliance items.

• Oversee and gather compliance requirements that need renewal.

• Review state rosters on a monthly basis and remove Clinicians as necessary.

• Complete the IDFPR monthly reporting requirements.

• Input and maintain Clinicians within E-notify/Nursys rosters.

• Conduct SSN verifications through the SSA as required.

• Review and process reimbursements in line with established guidelines.

• Participate in a minimum of one cross-training session annually.

• Provide support across various business lines as required.

• Collaborate with the Credentialing team, Clients, and Clinicians.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Quick learner of new systems and processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail is essential.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment while maintaining urgency.

• Strong customer service skills are mandatory.

• Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience is required.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and occupational health Comp is a plus.
