This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Assume complete responsibility for podcast and video production from start to finish.
• Lead the research and preparation for guest recordings.
• Investigate upcoming guests and formulate question angles and discussion topics.
• Collect community questions through engagement on social media platforms.
• Create comprehensive guest dossiers for hosts.
• Assist with technical preparations, including framing, microphone checks, and synchronizing multitrack audio.
• Edit full multi-camera podcast episodes.
• Enhance narrative flow, pacing, audio, color, graphics, and sponsor integrations.
• Craft compelling opening hooks to retain YouTube audiences.
• Design customized YouTube thumbnails.
• Conduct final quality assurance and approve master video and audio files.
• Identify engaging hooks, insights, and debate moments for short-form content.
• Edit vertical clips and create tailored Authority Reels.
• Generate content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Compose search-optimized YouTube titles, descriptions, chapters, and metadata.
• Develop promotional posts for social media and write newsletter copy.
• Produce a 500–800-word search-optimized article for each episode on the website.
• Schedule and publish long-form content on Podbean, YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
• Coordinate short-form releases on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor audience comments and social media interactions.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at community engagement.
• Create monthly performance reports detailing retention, click-through rates, reel views, and channel growth.
• Keep clients updated throughout the production process.
• Confirm the completion of deliverables and manage relevant administrative tasks.
• Ensure that published assets adhere to quality, branding, metadata, audio, visual, and scheduling standards.
• Proven experience in producing and editing professional long-form video or podcast content.
• Strong skills in multi-camera editing, including pacing, story structure, audio post-production, color correction or grading, graphics, and sponsor integration.
• A portfolio showcasing polished YouTube episodes, vertical social content, and exceptional visual storytelling.
• Capability to take an episode from initial recording to final publication with minimal oversight.
• Experience in crafting audience-facing copy, YouTube metadata, and search-optimized content.
• Strong editorial judgment and an understanding of audience interests and retention.
• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of audience-retention editing techniques, thumbnail testing, and social content performance metrics.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or a similar professional editing platform.
• Capabilities in professional audio editing and mastering.
• Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram publishing, optimization, and analytics.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools for creating thumbnails and social graphics.
• Reliable in managing cloud-based file storage, review processes, and project management workflows.
• Preferred: experience using Podbean, Spotify for Creators, Apple Podcasts, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Preferred: working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, content management systems, and email newsletters.
• Preferred: experience supporting remote recording setups, managing multitrack audio, and troubleshooting podcast production issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, dependable, and capable of juggling multiple content assets and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with high-quality standards.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and open to feedback.
