This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage release-of-information account queries for both internal and external clients with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service while handling business communications via telephone.
• Respond to release-of-information calls and inquiries in a timely and precise manner.
• Review, investigate, resolve, and reply to inquiries received through telephone, email, or written correspondence.
• Record all calls, inquiries, and resolutions in the designated software systems.
• Adhere to department- and site-specific protocols and procedures.
• Achieve productivity and quality assurance standards set by the department.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.
• Uphold professionalism and build rapport with colleagues and management.
• Promptly communicate any issues, complaints, and incidents.
• Execute work according to training and facility-specific guidelines.
• Attend mandatory employee meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record and report as scheduled.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution recognized by the State Department of Education.
• Friendly and professional communication style.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system is required.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• One year of relevant experience is advantageous.
• Background in data entry, medical records, healthcare, insurance claims processing, or proofreading/editing is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain organization while working efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Must pass the annual Introductory HIPAA examination.
• Required to complete and pass a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.
• Ability to undergo required post-offer health screenings and provide or complete vaccinations as applicable.
• No employment sponsorship is available.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST.
• Remote work setting.
• High-speed internet connection and a distraction-free work environment are required for remote work.
