CPA Bookkeeper

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily bookkeeping tasks for various client accounts

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets

• Prepare journal entries and maintain precise general ledger records

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Prepare and file VAT returns

• Keep financial records and supporting documentation organized

• Aid in financial reporting and management reporting

• Facilitate audit preparation and compliance efforts

• Utilize Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, and Spotlight Reporting

• Engage professionally with clients and internal team members

• Recognize opportunities to enhance processes and efficiencies

• Manage multiple clients while ensuring precision and meeting deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Xero or similar cloud accounting software

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Experience in managing multiple client accounts concurrently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Capability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team

• Availability to work from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am Philippine time (aligned with Netherlands business hours)

• Experience in preparing VAT returns (preferred)

• Familiarity with financial reporting (preferred)

• Audit experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of Dext, Hubdoc, and Spotlight Reporting (preferred)

• Experience working with international clients (preferred)
