Court Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Contact courts regarding individual orders and provide general updates on court status, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues pertaining to existing orders.

• Communicate effectively and professionally through remote voice calls and emails with court personnel, attorneys, and various clients.

• Utilize Skye, the proprietary application, to process documents, update notes, and perform accurate data entry.

• Handle a steady flow of incoming and outgoing phone calls with courts and customers.

• Convey updated court information to process servers and customers as necessary.

• Work collaboratively with team members to identify underlying issues and process inefficiencies.

• Navigate court dockets, download court documents, and upload them into the internal application.

• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Preferred legal experience.

• At least 1+ years of experience in customer support, call-center, or retail roles in a customer-facing, service-oriented environment is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in working and communicating effectively in a remote setting using platforms like Teams/Zoom, Teams chats, and Outlook emails.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and online fax services.

• Experience in document manipulation, particularly with PDFs.

• Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with precision.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• A quick learner with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
