Court Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Contact courts regarding individual orders and general updates on court status, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to current orders.

• Communicate effectively and professionally via remote voice calls and emails with court staff, attorneys, and other clients.

• Utilize Skye, the in-house application, to process documents, input informative updates/notes, and conduct data entry tasks.

• Handle a steady flow of incoming and outgoing phone calls to assist courts and customers.

• Provide updated court information to process servers and customers as necessary.

• Collaborate with team members to determine root causes and identify process inefficiencies.

• Navigate court dockets, comprehend case-document/status communications, download documents, and upload them into the internal application.

• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Legal experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year in customer support, call-center, or retail experience in a service-oriented, customer-facing role is preferable.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work comfortably and communicate effectively in a remote setting using Teams, Zoom, Teams chats, and Outlook emails.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word, along with online faxing tools.

• Experience in document manipulation (PDFs).

• Capability to perform repetitive data-entry tasks with precision.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Quick learner with a willingness to learn and grow.
