This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a regional sales team composed of experienced and talented sales professionals.
• Create the vision, chart the course, and execute annual plans.
• Achieve and surpass revenue and margin targets through measurable results.
• Recruit the direct sales management team, ensuring they recruit, hire, develop, and oversee a tiered sales structure.
• Manage, evaluate, and consistently report on pipeline development and regional forecasts.
• Allocate time equally between management of the team and customer-facing calls.
• Collaborate with both new and established channel partners to create new business opportunities.
• Formulate the regional go-to-market strategy.
• Lead negotiations for large and intricate deals.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Channel, finance, legal, R&D, and marketing leadership to enhance regional sales performance.
• Assume direct sales responsibility for regional accounts and achieve new product revenue objectives.
• Maintain communication with team members, prospects, clients, and partners within the designated territory.
• Formulate growth recommendations, identify growth opportunities, and target key accounts.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Tenable’s product offerings.
• Over 10 years of Director-level management experience overseeing direct reports in a dynamic, competitive, and rapidly evolving sales landscape.
• At least 6 years of experience in selling Security Products, including Vulnerability Management, Continuous Monitoring, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Compliance, Encryption, access Management, and Authentication.
• Strong understanding of how to effectively sell multi-product software solutions.
• A minimum of 8 years in a quota-carrying sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• Extensive experience in negotiating large, complex deals with intricate terms, conditions, and pricing pressures.
• Proven history of collaborating with channel and technology partners to create strategic and cooperative sales initiatives.
• Experience in coordinating with various internal multi-functional teams, such as Sales Engineers, Inside Representatives, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management, to ensure target quotas are met and exceeded.
